Words and Questions about Words
I often wonder: do words have a place in my art? Does the story add or detract from a picture's power? Is a title a trap or an added layer of understanding? Does writing fall into a separate art box, or not?
It's an issue worth wrestling.
It's a question that leads me back to me - how much of myself to share, and how much of my own interpretation is relevant, wanted, or necessary.
It's a question that leads to more questions.
So for now, I will compromise with a blog, which will be an art box for words, for stories, for questions.
